香港電訊錄得穩健的中期財務業績

於8月5日,香港電訊公佈截至2014年6月30日止六個月再次錄得穩健的業績。期內經調整資金流增加百分之七至港幣15.90億元,股份合訂單位持有人應佔溢利為港幣14億元,比2013年同期增長百分之十八。董事會宣派中期分派每個股份合訂單位港幣21.00分。穩健的業績反映香港電訊各項業務的良好表現,以及香港電訊於2014年5月完成收購CSL New World Mobility Limited(現稱CSL Holdings Limited)後自該日起綜合計算的CSL業績。

HKT reports solid interim financial results

On August 5, HKT reported another set of solid financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2014. Adjusted funds flow for the period increased by 7% to HK$1,590 million and profit attributable to holders of share stapled units was HK$1,400 million, an increase of 18% over the same period in 2013. The board has resolved an interim distribution of 21.00 HK cents per share stapled unit. The results reflect the robust performance of HKT's various lines of business and have consolidated the results of CSL New World Mobility Limited (now known as CSL Holdings Limited) since the completion of HKT’s acquisition of CSL in May 2014.

HKT has recently launched a new advertising campaign to reaffirm our commitment to meeting the ever changing communication needs of Hong Kong people and enhancing their lifestyle.

Of the campaign’s theme, "Building for Tomorrow, Today”, Mr. Alex Arena, Group Managing Director of HKT, said, "HKT has a long, proud history of serving the Hong Kong community for almost 100 years. A new mobile service brand, , was launched in July, combining the strengths and innovation of the PCCW-HKT mobile and one2free services. We have also simplified our mobile service plans for  and 1O1O, and added value for customers with the "傾King" VoIP app, which allows them to make unlimited voice calls to any Hong Kong phone number via Wi-Fi connection whether they are in Hong Kong or overseas. 學生IT夏令營

香港電訊及其母公司電訊盈科再度贊助由香港電腦學會、上海市計算機學會及IMA資訊經理人協會(台灣)合辦的「 2014 滬港台青少年 IT 夏令營」。該夏令營於7月28日至8月1日在台灣舉行,我們亦贊助了無線路由器及流動電話儲值通話咭,供參與的香港學生於當地使用,隨時輕鬆上網,與親友保持聯繫。此外,幾位公司義工更擔當夏令營的工作人員,親身在台灣支持該項活動。

Student IT summer camp

HKT and its parent company, PCCW, have once again sponsored the Shanghai-Hong Kong-Taiwan Youth IT Summer Camp 2014 co-organized by the Hong Kong Computer Society, Shanghai Computer Society and Information Management Association, Taiwan. We also sponsored wireless routers and all-in-one rechargeable roaming SIM cards for the Hong Kong students, so they could access the Internet and keep in touch with their friends and families during the camp in Taiwan from July 28 to August 1. Furthermore, some company volunteers acted as helpers to support the event on-site.
