開創寬頻新標準

香港電訊為香港的寬頻上網服務訂定新標準，推出「網上行4x1000M多連接寬頻服務」。

新服務提供4Gbps下載速度及2Gbps上載速度的光纖入屋寬頻傳輸^。客戶可連接多至四組不同的專用線路，而每組線路可享高達1Gbps的專用互聯網下載速度頻寬。客戶可於各組線路享用高私隱及安全的數據流量傳輸，分配各線路進行不同工作；而不同家庭成員亦能盡情享受個人興趣，如觀賞OTT（Over-the-Top）視象或進行網上遊戲。

Redefining broadband standard

HKT has set a new standard of broadband connectivity in Hong Kong with the introduction of NETVIGATOR 4x1000M Multi-Use Broadband Service.

The service delivers 4Gbps downstream and 2Gbps upstream FTTH broadband connections^. Customers can connect up to four different individual circuits, with a dedicated Internet downstream bandwidth of up to 1Gbps for each circuit. Customers may enjoy maximum traffic privacy and security on each circuit and assign different circuits for various tasks, while different members of a family can pursue their individual interests such as OTT (Over-the-Top) viewing or online gaming.

香港電訊繼續帶領LTE-A標準的演變，推出本港首個以IP-RAN為基礎的LTE-A 600Mbps網絡*，提供本地最快速的網絡規格**，為3G網絡的14倍。流動通訊用戶於指定地區使用兼容裝置，可享更快的下載速度，以及更流暢的視象串流及網上遊戲體驗。

600Mbps mobile network

Leading the evolution of the LTE-A standard, HKT has recently rolled out Hong Kong's first IP-RAN based LTE-A 600Mbps network*, which is the fastest mobile network specification in the city**, with 14 times the speed of the 3G network. Users of compatible mobile devices at designated locations can enjoy faster downloads and enhanced video streaming and gaming.

香港教育創客空間領袖聯盟

HKT education與一群卓越的建築設計師共同創立香港教育創客空間領袖聯盟，為本港學校提供免費諮詢及建議，建立自己的未來課室「創客空間」。

「創客空間」是一個協作學習課室，學生可聚集在一起探索、自行製作及共享學習資源。HKT education將提供一站式方案，將電子學習技術與教學法、室內設計結合起來，並提供配合學校教育需要及教學目標的專業諮詢服務。

MakerSpace Curator Alliance

HKT education has teamed up with a group of renowned architectural designers to form Hong Kong Education MakerSpace Curator Alliance, offering local schools free consultation and proposal to construct their own future classroom “MakerSpace”.

MakerSpace is a collaborative learning room where students can explore, brainstorm and DIY as well as share their knowledge and learning resources. HKT education will provide one-stop solution integrating electronic learning technology, pedagogy, interior design with professional consultation service that align with the schools’ education needs and their teaching objectives.

PCCW Global慈善跑2017

第四屆PCCW Global慈善跑於5月假新加坡濱海花園舉行，超過1,000名跑手參與。活動合共籌得5萬新加坡幣，已全數捐贈予新加坡願望成真基金，為患重病的兒童實現願望。

PCCW Global Charity Run 2017

Over 1,000 runners joined the 4th annual PCCW Global Charity Run at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore in May. The event raised SG$50,000 for Make-A-Wish Singapore to fulfill the wishes and dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

義工嘉許

集團去年協助社福機構舉辦多達41項長期和單次性的義工服務，義工隊的服務時數超過20,000小時，獲社會福利署頒發義務工作嘉許金狀（團體）。

最近義工活動包括：

-	於5月27日，超過150名義工及其親友探訪250名黃大仙下邨的長者，與他們慶祝端午節。
-	與彩虹長者綜合服務中心合辦「夏日樂悠遊」活動，義工於6月11日陪伴長者參觀消防及救護教育中心暨博物館及香港賽馬博物館。
-	於6月，義工在庭恩兒童中心照顧有言語障礙的兒童，讓他們的父母可參與由中心舉辦的理財工作坊。

　
Volunteer Award

Our volunteer team has again received a Gold Award for Volunteer Service (Organization) certificate from the Social Welfare Department. In 2016, we held 41 ongoing and one-off volunteer activities with over 20,000 service hours.

Recent volunteer activity highlights:

-	On May 27, more than 150 volunteers and their relatives and friends visited 250 elderly residents at the Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival.
-	We organized an outing with the Choi Hung Community Centre for Senior Citizens on June 11. The elderly people enjoyed a visit to the Fire and Ambulance Education Centre cum Museum and The Hong Kong Racing Museum.
-	In June, volunteers helped take care of the children with speech problems at the Benji’s Centre, so that their parents could attend the financial management workshops arranged by the Centre.
