香港摩天輪欖球迷派對

3月27至29日,香港電訊會員獎賞計劃The Club在香港摩天輪舉行國泰航空/滙豐香港國際七人欖球賽官方球迷派對,吸引數以千計的欖球愛好者參加。球迷除透過巨大熒幕觀看賽事的現場直播外,更品嚐了多款美食及飲品。大會亦安排唱片騎師於現場打碟,並邀請著名的士高樂隊Village People到場表演,將嘉年華氣氛推至高峰。

為了增添派對的綠色環保元素,除捐贈剩食予本地食物回收及援助計劃「惜食堂」外,大會亦於會場設置多個廢物回收箱。此外,大會特設慈善拍賣,為保良局籌得約$14,000。

Hong Kong Sevens Fan Party at The Wheel

The Club, HKT’s loyalty and rewards program, hosted the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens Official Fan Party at The Wheel on March 27-29, attracting thousands of rugby lovers to come and watch the live actions of the tournament on a giant screen. In addition to the rugby excitement, appetizing food and beverage, grooving music by the DJs and a riveting performance by the Village People reinforced the carnival entertainment for the participants.

To make the party “greener”, we adopted various waste reduction and recycling initiatives, such as donating the surplus food to Food Angel, a local food rescue and food assistance program, and providing recycling bins for waste separation. Also, $14,000 was raised for Po Leung Kuk in charity auctions held at the party.

Explore Art Central with HKT

As an official partner of Art Central, Hong Kong’s new contemporary art fair held at the new Central Harbourfront on March 14-16, HKT gave away complimentary tickets for its customers and members of The Club. The Club has hosted a guided VIP tour and sharing sessions.

A new round of Prize-Guaranteed Instant Win Lucky Draw for new members of The Club is underway until April 30. Anyone who successfully signs up for membership may enter the lucky draw* to win a prize.

A “ Mobile Future” zone has been created at our flagship store in Mongkok, enabling customers to keep up to speed with a wide array of digital gadgets. This new facility also provides tip-top after-sales service, as well as knowledge-rich workshops and expert advice on products, connectivity and lifestyle-enhancing solutions. 支持綠色生活

我們於3月推出了一系列環保活動,包括與惜食堂及樂餉社合作,鼓勵員工捐贈可食用及罐頭或包裝食物,轉贈予有需要人士;並向員工收集了使用過的利是封,捐贈予綠領行動作回收之用。

此外,我們邀請「地球之友」講解香港的廢物問題及解決方法。3月21日,我們參加由世界自然基金會香港分會於元洲仔自然環境保護研究中心舉辦的園藝保育日,協助清理海岸及整理花園環境。

香港電訊今年再度支持世界自然基金會的「地球一小時」活動,並於3月28日晚上8:30關掉其14間辦公室大樓及店舖的招牌燈飾。

Let’s go green

We rolled out a series of environmental protection programs in March to promote a green culture among staff members. We collaborated with Food Angel and Feeding Hong Kong to collect edible and canned or non-perishable surplus food from staff. Our staff also donated used red pockets to Greeners Action for recycling.

Friends of the Earth was also invited to deliver talks on the waste problems in Hong Kong and the possible solutions. On March 21, colleagues joined the Garden Conservation Day hosted by World Wide Fund for Nature Hong Kong (WWF) at the Island House Conservation Studies Centre to perform coastal cleanup and garden maintenance work.   

HKT has once again supported WWF’s Earth Hour this year. The signage lights of 14 office buildings and shops were switched off for an hour from 8:30pm on March 28.

 

 

 
 

 eye畫出繽Fun世界

香港電訊eye連續第二年舉辦「eye畫出繽 Fun世界」慈善創作比賽,旨在啟發小孩多元智力發展。活動吸引了近一萬名幼稚園及小學學生參賽,而香港電訊eye亦捐出12萬元予本地慈善機構「親切」(TREATS),以推動兒童社會共融工作。

大會早前舉辦了四場創意藝術坊,過百位來自主流學校與特殊學校的小朋友,在公司義工的協助下,合作繪製紙鞋,體現共融精神。

 

eye for fun

To stimulate development of multi-intelligence among children, HKT eye organized the “eye for fun” charity drawing competition for the second consecutive year. Around 10,000 entries were received from kindergarten and primary school students. HKT eye donated a total of $120,000 to TREATS, a charitable organization focusing on social integration services for children.

Four creative art workshops were organized for over 100 students from mainstream and special schools. With the assistance of our volunteers, the students joined hands to make creative paper shoes.

 

 

喜氣洋洋慶新春

香港電訊及電訊盈科全力贊助由香港聖公會黃大仙長者綜合服務中心舉辦的「喜氣洋洋慶新春」長者春季大旅遊。3月21日,約 200名黃大仙「老友記」與公司義工一同暢遊天水圍的香港濕地公園、錦田紅磚屋等,並於流浮山共晉海鮮宴。

Spring outing with the elderly

On March 21, around 200 elderly people and our volunteers participated in a spring outing sponsored by HKT and PCCW. As arranged by Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Wong Tai Sin District Community Centre, the participants visited places including the Hong Kong Wetland Park in Tin Shui Wai and Red Brick House in Kam Tin. They also enjoyed a seafood lunch at Lau Fau Shan.
